The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) was established to offer crisis intervention and support to Nevada families experiencing behavioral or mental health emergencies. For too long, families have had no option but to visit the emergency room due to a lack of resources or awareness of available services. MCRT provides a solution. Being mobile, the team comes directly to the family and also helps over the phone.
MCRT offers support to youth and families with youth under 18 who exhibit behavioral or mental health issues that threaten the child's stability at home, school, or in the community. This includes, but is not limited to anger, self-injury, school problems, suicidal or homicidal thoughts or behaviors, extreme parent/child conflict, peer conflict such as bullying, seeing or hearing things, and depression/anxiety.
