Began making a difference at A Beautiful Mind in 2019.
Kara Harrison is the kind voice on the other end of the phone and often the first step toward feeling supported at A Beautiful Mind, where we offer comprehensive psychotherapy services. As our Client Care Administrator, she understands that reaching out for mental wellness can feel like a significant first step. Kara takes time to make scheduling, answering billing questions, and finding the right graduate student therapist feel calm, clear, and reassuring.
Kara brings strong organization, management experience, and genuine compassion to every conversation. Her 13 years of experience in dental and mental health settings helped shape the patience, kindness, and attention to detail she brings to our practice. Outside the office, Kara enjoys family time, traveling, and being outdoors.
We are grateful to have her as part of our team as A Beautiful Mind continues to grow and serve both Tennessee and Nevada. In every interaction, Kara is committed to protecting client privacy with care, professionalism, and respect.
Simply put, A Beautiful Mind would not be A Beautiful Mind without her.

Established A Beautiful Mind in 2018, Patrick Cummings believes people are meant to do more than exist—they are meant to fully live. He brings a practical, people-first approach to mental wellness, resilience, and suicide prevention, catering to graduate student therapists, business owners, tattoo artists, athletes, and community teams.
His psychotherapy services center on self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and self-care, helping individuals show up well for themselves and others.
From prioritizing mental wellness in his Juneau whale-watching business to assisting Las Vegas tattoo artists in recognizing distress through A Beautiful Mind’s INK Training, Patrick creates supportive environments where people can look out for one another.
As a lifelong athlete and parent of a professional athlete, he also helps athletes build focus, resilience, and purpose amid wins and setbacks.
At the heart of his mission, Patrick empowers people to choose a life filled with more meaning, connection, and impact while also supporting A Beautiful Mind’s initiatives in crisis care, grief, and loss support.
